Jeffrey Eats Everything.
Before you is a tasty treat like no other! Jeffrey’s face modeling with:
Spam Musubi - a two-inch rice block wrapped in a dry, flavored seaweed roll. Given as a side to Jeff’s delectable to-go dish was soy sauce. L&L also serves barbecue chicken, portuguese sausage, or chicken katsu musubi!
Come and experience this magical place yourself! L&L is found in several locations on the west coast, NYC, Alaska, New Zealand, American Samoa, and Japan! If you wish to try the Musubi dish but are not near any of these locations, look for any hawaiian-based restaurants/food chains. This dish is also known as Spam Wasubi or just Spam Sushi.

Benoks 2: Lomi Haus & Fast Food (Batangas, Philippines)
In case you don’t know what Lomi is:
Lomi is a Filipino-Chinese popularly served in Batangas, made with a variety of thick egg noodles about a quarter of an inch in diameter. Lomi is served with a variation of different meat (usually pork, meatballs, or chicken). Other common contents of the soup include chicken liver, sauteed onions and garlic, and egg.
- Lechon Lomi: Pancit-Lomi noodles, soup stock, black pepper, large slices of lechon (roasted suckling pig)
- On the side - soy sauce with kalamanci (citrus flavoring) and red chili peppers
Lomi is served in various restaurants, or panciterias, in Batangas, and JeffreyEats was lucky enough to visit one of them!
Enjoy!
Now with friends, Gelo and Renzo Eseo!
- Jersey Shore Burger: beef patty, fried mozzarella sticks, marinara sauce, and mozzarella cheese served on a burger roll with a side of disco fries (waffle-shaped fries with mozzarella and gravy).
Restaurant as seen on: Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives.
Action shot @ the Red Lobster.
Jeffrey eating a Steamed Snow Crab Leg, part of the “Ultimate Feast”, consisting of the Crab Legs, tender split Lobster Tail, Garlic Shrimp Scampi, and “Walt’s Favorite Shrimp”.
BEHOLD, JEFFREY EATS COMMUNITY. CARNE ASADA FRIES (yes, it is the size of the plate/platter) AND THE CALIFORNIA BURRITO.
- California Burrito: Carne Asada (“grilled meat”; usually marinated in lime juice, spices, and garlic cilantro), Shoe String Fries, Guacamole, Queso, Sour Cream.
- Carne Asada Fries: MUNDO amounts of Carne Asada, Fries, Guacamole, Queso, Sour Cream on a platter.
Hm. It seems that the California Burrito is just the Carne Asada Fries wrapped in a tortilla…
But hey, the Jeff eats what the Jeff eats.
Son Ja Jang: Homemade Noodle Restaurant
Here we have Jeffrey enjoying his birthday dinner with (from left to right):
- Kimchi and radishes to start. Also served with Ja Jang sauce, made out of roasted soybeans and caramel.
- Tang Soo Yuk (sweet and sour pork)
- JjamPong* (top half of bowl; homemade noodles with various clams/seafood and spicy soup) and Jja Jang Myun (bottom half; homemade noodles with bean sauce and peas). Hangul translation: 짬짜면.
The entrance to the restaurant is through a hallway-type door within the building. There is also a nice window of the kitchen where you can watch them hand-pulling the noodles! Very small Korean restaurant with excellent quality.
Enjoy everyone!
*Unfortunately, Jeffrey could not enjoy the JjamPong because he is allergic to shellfish. We do not have a picture of his disappointment.
